Where the 24/7 line sends crews
Our dispatch line covers Calabasas and the nearby places listed below. The towns differ more than a map suggests. They sit under different water providers, different permit offices and, in a few cases, different counties, and that changes who you call about a main break and where a repair permit comes from.
Pick the place closest to your address for details. If your address is on the edge of one of these areas, call and ask: the dispatcher can tell you whether we serve it.
Each page below lists the water provider, the permit office and the ZIP codes for that place, so you can see at a glance who to call about a failed main and where a rebuild permit would come from.

Some nearby communities do not have their own page but are within reach of the same line. Malibu, a Los Angeles County city, uses 90265 as its main residential ZIP. Oak Park is an unincorporated community in Ventura County with ZIP 91377. Hidden Hills is a city in Los Angeles County that the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District also serves.
Bell Canyon is a gated private community on the Ventura County side that shares ZIP 91307 with West Hills, and Monte Nido is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County near Calabasas. If you live in one of these, call and the dispatcher will confirm coverage for your address.

Call (818) 337-2642Why the jurisdiction matters after a leak
Three things depend on where your home sits. First, the water provider: if a main fails before the meter, you call the district or the city utility, not a restoration crew. Second, the permit office: a rebuild that needs a permit goes to Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Los Angeles or the county, depending on the address. Third, the county line: some ZIP codes cover addresses in more than one jurisdiction, which is why a ZIP alone is not a reliable guide.
For the City of Calabasas, the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District runs a 24-hour emergency line for water and sewer problems at (818) 251-2100. See the page for your area for its own contacts, and read about emergency water removal if water is standing in your home.
Main break outside your home?
Call the utility for the pipe on its side of the meter, then call us for the damage inside.

Do you serve areas outside the six listed here?
The line takes calls from nearby addresses too, including Malibu, Oak Park, Hidden Hills, Bell Canyon and Monte Nido. Coverage is confirmed by address on the call.
Why do you list ZIP codes for each town?
Some ZIP codes cross town and county lines. Woodland Hills uses 91364, 91367 and 91371, Westlake Village 91361 and Agoura Hills 91301. Each location page explains where its ZIP code does and does not match the town.
Who do I call when a water main fails in the street?
That means the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District in Calabasas, Agoura Hills and Westlake Village, reachable around the clock at (818) 251-2100 for water or sewer emergencies. Woodland Hills and West Hills are served by LADWP.
Does the permit office change by town?
Yes. Calabasas and Agoura Hills each have their own Building and Safety Division, Woodland Hills and West Hills answer to the City of Los Angeles building department, LADBS, and Topanga and Westlake Village use Los Angeles County Building and Safety.
